Research Interests

I am currently a MS student at the University of Georgia’s Odum School of Ecology. My research is driven by my passion for conservation ecology and gaining insight on ways anthropogenic influence is impacting wildlife. In the lab, I have been involved in an ecotoxicology/disease study using Southern leopard frogs (Lithobates sphenocephalus) in constructed wetlands designed to mitigate high levels of coppr (Cu) and zinc (Zn). My current research is sampling Ambystomatid salamanders and examining the seasonal dynamics of two common amphibian diseases (Chytrid fungus and Ranavirus) in wetlands of varying hydroperiods. Other research interests of mine include population genetics, evolution, marine ecology, herpetology, wildlife management, and ecology.
